About Us

Preschool Pal is created by a mother and early childhood teacher who realized during the Covid-19 pandemic that early learners need extra support and resources. The early years are critical in childhood development. Early childhood education lays the foundation for future success in kindergarten and beyond. Parents and caregivers need support and encouragement to provide the best opportunities for early learners.

Greetings!
My name is Mrs. Naughty’a Gray. I am very excited to be your Preschool Pal! I am looking forward to years of growth and success!
Let me tell you a little about myself. I am a mother, wife, educator, and entrepreneur. I graduated from Washington Adventist University in 2015. I have Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and Care. I also attended Howard University and studied Human Development and Early Childhood Education. I am currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Leadership in Teaching. I love to teach! Teaching is my passion!
I have over 14 years of childcare and teaching experience. I have been a tutor, babysitter, camp counselor, one-on-one paraprofessional, childcare teacher, a childcare center Director, and a Head Start instructor. I have experience working with children ages birth- 13 years. I also have some experience working in the special education field.
I was born in New York and I grew up in Calvert County, MD. I love the outdoors and adventure. My favorite place to go and relax is the beach. I also love to travel and meet new people. I also enjoy shopping and spending time with my family. I have two daughter’s, a teenager and an infant.

Our mission is to empower, enhance, engage, and encourage the early learning community in building the best foundation for children birth to five.

Vision

Our vision is for each child to develop a curiosity of learning, discover their interests and grow in their love of learning. We are committed to the families we serve, providing support and encouragement.

Philosophy

Preschool Pal has a comprehensive approach to educating and enriching the whole child. Our preschool curriculum is play based because play is the most appropriate mode for a young child’s learning.
